Boiler Servicing & Installation
Ayers Plumbing and Heating services and installs a variety of top brand boilers including Baxi, Ideal and Worcester. All boilers are installed to gas safe regulations and customers are provided with certification and full warranty upon completion of registration which is completed by us on behalf of the customer.
We cater for both gravity and pressurised heating systems depending on the individual circumstances.
Heating Systems
Ayers Plumbing and Heating provides full, gas central heating system installation whether as an upgrade, as part of home renovations or extensions or in new build properties. As well as the traditional wall radiator systems we also install underfloor heating, either throughout the whole house or as an addition to an existing system.
We also carry out servicing, repairs or replacement work on pumps, control valves (two or three port) radiator valves, radiators and thermostats.
General Plumbing
Ayers plumbing and heating can help with various common plumbing issues.
If you have a radiator valve leak or a dripping overflow pipe coming from a loft tank give us a call and we can help. A dripping kitchen tap is not only annoying but it wastes a surprising amount of water, we can either change the whole tap or often a replacement internal cartridge will solve the issue.
If a sink or basin waste is slow to drain usually cleaning the trap will do the trick but occasionally the pipe work may be clogged up and require clearing. Leaking pipe work or waste under the kitchen sink can often go unnoticed so it's always good to check the cupboard once in a while and call us if you have an issue.
If your shower isn't performing as it should Ayers Plumbing and Heating can replace thermostats and cartridges or install a whole new unit if required.
An outside tap always comes in handy but surprisingly not every house has one, give Ayers a call and we can install one, usually through the wall behind a sink unit or from a utility of cloakroom.
Hot Water Systems
Ayers Plumbing and Heating can carry out safety checks on (unvented) hot water cylinders. It is recommended that these checks are carried out at least yearly to confirm safe operation of the cylinder. As cold water is heated in the cylinder it expands and over time the space for the water to expand into deteriorates, during a safety check the vessel is re-charged to allow for safe expansion, this in turn takes the pressure off the pipework reducing the risk of a leak.
